Thanks for your offers guys =)

Its all done.

Engine crane? I took it out through the bottom.
Need some deep sockets for the engine mounts.
Found that the rear engine mount was stuffed. Bye bye 6A12 =)

I've got deep sockets that I've used on the 6a13 mounts if you want to borrow them.

Haha, no im following you and learning from all your mistakes :P

Need to give me those engine mounts so I can make those brackets for you :)
What are you doing for the cross member and sub frame mounts?
Are you going to lower them 10mm?
The sub frame one will be hard to do that unless you drop the frame 10 mm?

You know, I wanted mine to be unique >< lol

I Think we'll just need to make shims to space everything down.

As for the subframe mount, we got that sorted already lol

I will have a subframe jib later this week, so if the 7g subframe has the same mounting points as the 8g, you could make a whole new sub frame ;)

Jib = Job ?
Yes they are the same. I was gioing to sand blast it then powder coat it =)

Reason I asked about the subframe, I found some nice 10mm thick - 60mm round disks that look like a perfect fit.

We're doing engine swaps.

Hmmm.... you think shifting the sub frame would be a good option?

Bring the disc's around sometime, we'll see if they'll do the job I'm thinking of...

We have less than 12, but you will only need 4.
We were buying them premade, now I just use flat bar, as it is more cost effective.

We are getting a new lathe at work in the next month. Will have about 500mm bed swing. Wont be hard to make them up to 75mm as that is our flat bar size.

I think it might be a bit a good option to lower the whole sub frame down 10mm. I will have a good look at these options.
Or need to move the north/south engine mounts up 10mm, I know the south one is close to the turbos and the oil drain line.

It would, but you do know its 180deg to yours? A lot of work for not much gain.
Your are better to VR-4 yours with a 8g =)
Anyway I sold it :P
