Anybody else encountering database errors at the moment? They have happened to me when trying to post (although the reply WAS posted, but doesn't appear to have been indexed properly), also when trying to delete posts (in this case, a duplicate post), and when trying to search for something.

And also when posting this new thread!

There is a database back-up at 2am GMT that usually means anyone accessing the site at that time, and a few minutes after, often get error messages.

These are happening now, when trying to do stuff on the site generally.

Possible high database load causing the issue? I'd offer to take a look but without access I guess we'll have to wait for John / Barry :)

Getting the same. Found if you refresh, your post normally goes ok

On the 2AM one, that seems like regular maintenance and the database always goes down for a couple of minutes. You can go back but not post or search / move forward. Not really a problem though that one as it is always at the same time and soon recovers.

Yep, that was one thread causing the bother earlier on. It still posted the post, but told me there was a database error, and it then didn't show up in the 24 hours search as the most recent post, suggesting that it wasn't properly indexed, or something?
