Best place for VR4 pre-purchase inspection?

Hello all,

Looking at buying my first VR4 in a few days, now owning a Mitsubushi at the moment I know they can have a lot of problems if they have been poorly looked after. Wanting to completely avoid that situation this time around I want the best possible pre-purchase inspection I can find in Auckland that has any sort of special knowledge of VR4's.

So CVR4, where should I go?

Probably a club member who knows these cars inside out would be your best bet, otherwise AA etc

AA full inspection would be the best report.

I would say get a club member to have a look at it for you,and if they say it seems fine,you can then take it for a full AA inspection report.

I was told that an AA inspection was a complete waste of money, better to take it to a mitsubishi dealer and let their workshop do a full inspection. just my 2 cents

There used to be a CVR4 Buyer's Guide somewhere on the site but I can't seem to find it?

AA inspections are not worth the paper they are written on. I have seen some cars that AA said were fine, but were completely ****ed
