Start point - The Ibis Hotel, Wellingborough.
End Point - Club VR-4 stand, Santa Pod.
Date - 10th October 2004.
Time - ?

So when do you all want to leave the Hotel? How early does BDA need to be there to ensure enough tries to avoid exposing skin?

Please put your answers here, as the anti-social types who are not staying in the hotel want to know when they need to get there for! :p

For info - gates open at 8:00 and the track opens at 10:00.

Well I would say it makes sense to get there as early as possible for two reasons:

1: To get in the queue to get registered and purchase tickets to run

2: To get an early run in whilst the ambient temperature is lower, could prove to be the best run of the day having not to sit in huge queues with engine getting hotter.

I propose departing Ibis at 7.30am

It may be a 5.9 ltr Chevy V8, but It's got a bit of weight to pull. :-b :-b

McDonalds is fine with me, just get up 10 mins earlier :-D As long as we are all ready to depart together I guess.

P.S. We need a new committee member - the post is "Waking Barry Up At A Meet" - very important role

There are no fridges in the rooms Nick, however they kindly stored some ice blocks in theirs for us before so I'm sure if you ask nicely the staff will take care of them for you

7:15?

Not meaning to be funny, but you will definitely be queueing when you get there half an hour before the gates open!

Surely 7:30 is okay? The queue will still be hit before the gates open!

What route are you guys going to be taking? Will you be passing through Higham Ferrers or Rushden? I could join the convoy on the way at Higham instead of driving all the way to Wellingborough to drive back this way again. I live in Higham by the way.
