Barry
When Notifications is selected the box advising me that there is 1 message for me is only half the size needed, cropping the bottom of the words off
Using Firefox

I get it as well Barry on firefox , if you hover over notifications the box that comes up is too small as if the css is slightly wrong

You are using the basic design?!
Try changing it, steps are covered here (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?55091-HOW-TO-Members-Bar-BETA-%28Members-only%29) under the heading "Change From Full to Basic Mode."

Funnily enough, mine was already set to Full Design, but had been displaying at the top. I 'changed' it to Full Design, and resaved my options, and that cured it for me.

Sorted.
Thanks for pointing out the error in my settings.
However, there are members I suspect who like me can be absent for periods of time if they work abroad or at sea & have no way of logging onto the web during that time. Is there anyway that these guys can receive a bulletin when they first log on after an absence of over say six weeks, assuming they are still paid up members?

I did put up a big yellow banner, with a link to the HOW TO thread, i thought this may have been sufficient - perhaps i can reword it and republish it?

We have a similar problem at the Rugby Club. We put up notices on the players noticeboard for functions and get told they didn't know.
Probably thought it to be computer techy gobbledegook stuff. Sorry - I tend to turn off when I detect that

I changed mine back to basic mode but not bothered about the display error as no one likes me enough to send any PM's :D
