front bumper?

ive just had a phone call from a car breaker,he has just got a 51 plate galant saloon,rear ended (crumpled up to the front door's)
the front bumper is in mint condition with fog light's..(the fool has sold all the other front light's,when he knew i wanted the clear indicators!)
he is going to remove the bumper and put it to one side for me :D

should i ........?

shoud'nt i .....?

get this.....he sold all the front light's,bonnet and a wing to the local mitsy garage for one they are repairing for a customer!!!!!! :laugh: (sound's like a rip-off for someone :sad3: )

i'm going to try get to the breaker's tomorrow,but ive got to go to Edinburgh first!! :sad3:
i'll have a look an see if it's leather,do you want it if it is?just undo from the floor and undo the cable?.Also i go away on holiday on friday for 2 week's so if i can't make it over i'll phone and ask them to remove it and keep it with the bumper, :rolleyes5 in fact i'll phone just now i'll get back to you in a few min's ;)

also does the early grill match against the later bumper?(grill was also sold to mitsy garage)

If it is a sport style bumper, you will need the grill. I don't think the early one fits - it is definitely a different shape.

I thought a car involved in a fatality should become a category 'A' write-off and all of it's remains destroyed - To prevent damage to health, distress to the bereaved, etc.... You seriously don't want to be buying a car with someone's bits still smeared on it!!! :( :( :(

Bal just to let you know, J.A.P.S in Glasgow have a boot lid it's a bluey/green colour on a R reg..look's in very good condition,i tried to get a price but the guy who deal's with the prices was'nt there and i could'nt hang about (sorry).
you could phone them and ask if they could send it to you?

as for the Bumper.....it's a newer than mine GLS one (like Kieran's old car) one fog light has gold-fish swimming in it!! and it's pretty well scuffed on each corner.........(waste of bloody time!)
