I've always wanted a Plasma Ball!! ever since I visited the Science Museum in London, bare in mind that must have been well over 15 years ago, I've been many times since, anyway..
My mum and dad were out shopping today and bought me one :wiggle: special offer on one of the big ones, only £15.

I'm happier than a pig in sh*t but...
I've either got a ghost or it's the ball, but my light now turns off on its own and comes on, on its own.
I'm an Electrician and I can verifiy that all is okay with the wireing but I do have a remote light switch that obviously turns on and off with a remote but you can also just touch the plate to turn it on and off and if you hold your hand or any part of skin on the swith face it works as a dimmer.
Now when you hold the Plasma Ball and do this.. you can almost get the same effect from the ceiling light as you can from the Plasma Ball! :D simple things please simple minds, but I thought I should share this with you all.

Now back to starring at the ball and touching it watching the little bolts of lightning follow me finger. :D

I take it my ball isn't sad anymore? :D

They look really good mate. I can see us having the best club logo EVER!
Could even use something like that with the ball in the actual Club VR-4 logo stuff? instead of the basic Club VR-4 lettering? certainly stands out.

Why not set the ball up infront/behind the car in a dark gargae and take a photo then? Could be good or bad results. Try and have the VR-4 logo in the photo too:Ponder:

What product are you using for the image manipulation ? Looks really great...I love taking photos but have got kind of left behind in the whole photoshop thing as I have had to concentrate on the less creative side of computing.

Used photoshop there, think there were about 16 layers used.. i remember there being a few, and kept getting confused, as i didnt name them :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

i love doing stuff liek that, spent years playing about...
