I want to remove the rear lower suspension arms so that I can beef up the anti roll bar bracket. The bolts cannot be removed as they foul on the fuel tank so it looks like I need to lower the rear subframe. Question is do I do it one side at a time or can I just lower the front part of the subframe or does the whole thing need to be completely lowered ?

I've had those bolt out. I remember clearance being awkward but I don't remember having to drop the subframe. Is there a way of rotating them to help get them out? Or maybe moving the washers or something?
