howdy!

last night some little scrote thought it would be funny to run over my car. there is only a small dent to the bonnet so quite lucky in that regard but my alarm didnt go off.
my car has a toad ai606 alarm fitted to it and i would like to know if i can turn up the sensitivity of the shock sensor (or if it has 1 for that matter) and where it's likely to be found?

much appreciated

Shock sensor will be under the dash, tucked right underneath. It'll most likely be a small black box with a light and adjusting knob recessed into it.

shock sensor is an optional extra on the ai606 try kicking your tyres fairly hard if nothing happens you probably don't have it.

The shock sensor should be located within the middle of the car IE under the center consul then it gets to feel everything from around the car. That's where mine was put. They are an optional extra

edit: some hefty kicks to the wheel made them move but no noise :( how would i go about getting this extra fitted?

Right Ash this is what you need dude:-

Easy fit with instructions, please make sure you buy one with the wiring harness then just set it up a tiny bit at a time with the adjuster screw

sounds to me you would be better off making you car a 10,000v taser.. a shock sensor wont stop a moron from using you car as a running track... but a shock will.

tempting as that is... ya'd get jailed for it over here.
although i am curious as to how one would go about achieving that!

was just a joke... but i would say you would just mount a electric fence onto the panel work of the car??? i remember on top gear they zapped a car with a lightning bolt and it worked fine afterwards.

so after i think abit more about this.. you will need

a alarm with a (-) when armed output
a relay
a 12v - 240v inverter with massive watt rating
a electric fence module
and a boot full of batteries.

or a extension cord from car to mains power supply.

when car is alarmed the (-) when armed wire will switch the relay which will power the inverter which will make the car live :)
