to low & soft and they sag after a while,
no good if you value your cars underside/front bumper tow hook cover,

you need to either get a set off proper new shocks (shortened),
(stay away from jamex and kings) and some good jap brand springs

personally, a decent set of adjustables and a cert is the best thing to do,

Thanks Gly, I nearly bought a set of jamex super lows. Well have to save up for coilovers. Any rough estimate on coilovers and cert?

I agree with Carsten. I had Jamex super lows in my Legnum when I got it, if you don't put anything or anyone else in the car with you they are alright, but will still bottom out on a decent dip in the road. I went to Dobi lows in the rear for a while (Jamex super low still in the front) and they were ok, but nothing beats going down the coilover route, best way to get the lowered look and still have handling and be able to load it up. Just my two cents worth.

Brand new set of teins, good ones, probably $2500-$3000 with cert

you can pick up coil overs from $600 (used, buyer beware, ive never had a prob, just make sure there in good condition first)
cert $350-$500 depending on where and who, and if the car needs re-checking

watch out for the lower spec'd teins, there **** in most cases
