Dan, sweet car! Congratulations! May I make a small suggestion - don't shoot me. - get a genuine V6 Sport badging for the rear boot lid to replace the 'fake' one the last owner put on. It'll set you back 30 quid but it'll be the finishing touch!

Haha, thanks to you both.

It was pointed out to me the other day it was not the original badge, i am hoping to take it off with in the next couple of weeks.
If i can get away with removing it without damaging the paint i may just keep the boot de-badged.

Put a GLS badge on there to be extra cheeky :p

Nice looking car Dan /yes

My finishing touch suggestion would be to get some light tints on the windows, and job done! Excellent purchase.

Thanks again.
I have many ideas and plans, including a set of coilovers,
Slightly better brakes (Carbotech pads),
Mitsi foot mats and then little touches like Original floor mats,
Very slight tints on the windows,
Twin fog lamps ....

Basicly i am aiming for arould 200HP with a well tuned chassis on a very tidy looking car.

I like the GLS badge idea though lol

You are in luck, Dan. There's an article I've written on this site on how to wire up the twin front bumper lights, and get them to work as VR4 cornering lights. I did this to mine after buying the lamp set from JapanParts.com

Genuine thick pile 'elegance' mats were discontinued years ago by Mitsubishi, they were an option. Keep an eye out on eBay. I bought a genuine and brand new set on there three years ago.

Here's the article - short and sweet, tells you all you need to know, but it is darn complicated. Show it to an auto electrian and it will make complete sense! http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?30348-Wiring-facelift-VR4-style-turn-lamps

Looks very nice fella. Good luck on the 200hp adventure. A simple k&n panel filter (In std box) and a free flowing exhaust will help. They are nippy.
Regarding mats I bought some off ebay in the end after no help with mitsi etc. Around £60 but quility- fit is awesome.

Thanks chap, I am hoping to start off with the suspension side of things for now. Then the brakes and then the engine, however I may just end up buying parts as and when i have the money and in no sort of order.
Will search on ebay if mitsi are not much help regarding floor mats, cheers.
