Have you got an MBC or an EBC fitted (boost controllers)?

sounds like you have a leak in the boost control circuit and the wastegates are not seeing any pressure

by the sounds of it they did not redo it propperly , be very carefull as hitting fuel cut repeatadly is not good for the engine , also 1.5 bar is asking for bang bang rattle pop noises

I'd have to agree - most likely cause by a mile is a split/loose/incorrectly fitted conrol pipe.

My car overboosted for about a day when i accidently pulled the boost pipe off to the turbo wastegate "T" piece and by god it made a massive difference super quick car.
I realised pretty quick what had happened but could not fix it straight away so drove with very light throttle for the rest of the way home and fixed it then.
Not advisable to drive with no boost control for long, as said above by, "the knowledge bods" things can go Bang!

Maybe a hose is plumbed wrong? Can you take photos of the control hoses?

wel this mornin it only went to 0.5 bar so think i must of found leak as there was joint at back of engine that wasnt needed ?

Joint at back of engine? Not the hose to rear turbo actuator?
