Super SQV dump valves

Hi

just a quick question for any of you who have Super SQV dump valves fitted to their vr4. do the dump valves vent to the atmopspere in auto mode or do they only work in manual mode. i've got a 1999 vr4 estate with the tiptronic gearbox, will the make any preformance difference or will they just sound good?

Firstly, they will dump to atmosphere in auto when of course you remove your foot off the accelerator - so basically you can control when you want it to dump :-D

Secondly, they are not proven to make any real improvement in performance and I have heard in some cases they actually reduce performance slightly - but the sound is worth it :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
