many moons ago a girlfriend of mine had a Fiat Ritmo San remo special heap.......I discovered that the pedals were swapped to the RHS by way of bars....the correct application of pressure from the passengers feet either braked or accelrated...

LOL.. Also reminds me of when i used to get a lift to work in a Citroen 2CV6 Special Dolly. I too found out that you could accelerate by pressing down on in the passenger footwell /yes It amused me no end :D But not when the bloke figured out why his car was accelrating when he was off the loud pedal while approaching a roundabout /help /haz/megawoot:coat
