Okay guys & girls. This is just for fun.:)

Going down to Crail on the 12th of June. Its been over a year since I was last there & got a 13.9second 1/4 mile run.

This year I have the Greddy FMIC , lighter wheels, carbon bonnet fitted & I can turn the boost up a bit. I may even get rid of the spare wheel.

What do you think my best time will be?

Guesses.

/yes

If it's any of the above it could be July 15th at 3.23pm :upsidedow

or 4.22pm :dizzy2:

or 1/4 left!!

My guess would be 13.343 or depending on what time of day you run /haz

SteveH

13.9 1/4 no change. my only thought is that you'll be stripping the car down by your last run just to beat your previous time/haz

if the race starts anything like this..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49BtJTp-bUI ..... id say you should be wanting to get a easy mid-low 13 if not faster? you cant be afraid to pop things when at the track.. end of the day if you want a better time slip. you haveto push harder.

Some great times there Andy. If you discount the bikes and Time Attack Evos, yours was the 8th fastest out of 75 cars! I don't feel so bad losing out to that RX7 in the morning - he was no. 1 excluding the bikes etc.

Though you did get out paced by both the Rover 800 and the Nova....../Hmmm

aboo

8th fastest. I'll take that/yes That Nova was quick & it must have been a 1/4 of the weight of our cars with it being a totally stripped out race car. God knows how the Rover got that time? Looked like a shed but don't know what he had done to the engine.

Only 4 hundredths slower than the Noble:)

We did have a laugh when we were standing watching cars worth 10/20 times more than we paid for our cars not beating our times./lol

Bang for buck I don't think there are many cars out there that can beat a VR4.

Well said, glad you happy with your times but for me (novice) is just a time, do you know some web where I could compare your time to other cars??
