Hi, this is my first thread having recently just joined what seems to be a very
well put together club.
I was wondering if anyone out there has the information i`m seeking which
has been frustrating me for over 4 weeks.
I have just fitted a Clarion GPS System and Monitor in my 1997 2.5 V6 Galant, fitting it in the centre of my dash and have achieved a factory fitted look, if i say so myself.
The thing is i can`t seem to locate a connection to the Speed Pulse Wire, which
i need for the navigator to work properly, its basically 1 wire i need to connect
All the information i have been getting seems to be misleading, and even
Clarion did`nt have the right info.
I have checked on the PDF manual downloads on the club site, showing the location of the main ECU and pin connections under centre console, here it
says pin 69. Having tried connecting to this i found it to be wrong, so if anyone out there knows of the precise connection and colour of the wire, or
any other location i can attach to, without resorting to taking the dash out
i would be extremely grateful.

its a white wire with a green stripe on ecu or the easiest way is to pull the dash out and connect it to the back of the dash. i would recommend you join as a full paid up member for £20

Try downloading this : http://www.apexi-usa.com/productdocumentation/wiringDiagram.pdf - look at the Mitsy ECU's (M3a for the VR4)
