British Grand Prix 2011 parking

I've been to Silverstone a few times, but never to the British Grand Prix - so has anyone been to silverstone on the qualifying day of the Bristish Grand Prix? I'm thinking of taking my Westfield up there if it's a nice day, but don't won't to be parking in the middle of a dusty/muddy car park. What sort of parking is there if you don't get into the normal car park to the right of the main gate as I've always parked in?

What's the crowds like on qualifying day, how packed is it?

I've been twice, but camped one time and had a lift with someone who had a staff car park pass the other time, so can't help! Since I was there they have made massive improvements to access roads and parking, let alone the track and spectating points, so I'm not sure my experiences will help much.

will if my memory serves me rite they shut the a43 and that your car pack so your not that close to the track or muddy feild lol
