If I remove all 4 struts + put wheels back on the car will I be able to roll the car back and forward.
You see I'm considering scrapping a legnum and the scrap dealer will take it if it rolls on its own wheels.;)

would of thought not but if you were to put some kind of strut in there then yea (wooden or metal)

I think it will, as the top wishbones hit the inner arch before the wheels foul anything. Don't quote me, but i'd give it a go.

Yes it will roll, that is exactly how my old one went. You'll struggle to get it on a trailer but it is doable. I did have a scrap engine and gearbox in the boot of mine.

put in blocks of wood inside the strut towers (where the top of the shock comes up through) this stops the upper arm going all the way up. (stop the upper arm moving upward and it will stay at a decent height for moving.

I've got one out the back with no shocks or springs in that I move around from time to time.

To all who said it would roll go to the back of the class. It simply would not budge, even though it was being pulled onto the trailer by a winch.
I jacked it up and put a 4X2 block above each suspension and it rolled up effortlessly.
Thanks again guys.

What sort of wheels were on it? I've had no trouble before with the stock 15" alloys on the STRs.

Yeah I had stock 15", actually they were a few legnum space saver spares I had knocking around the place, that I fitted on.
You can just make them out in the photo attached.
The clearance you can see is with the wooden blocks fitted atop the suspensions

Would've thought it would roll. Few years back I removed the rear suspension temporarily and this is what it looked like (still rolled!).
