I was wondering would it possible or is the shape and fitment is completly wrong even with some brace work done etc?

I've not done it myself, but the seat back is the same size and shape. The saloon is a fixed back though, so fixing points may not be in the same place.

The other thing to remember is that the side bolsters are a different shape, if you are looking at swapping those too.

Dunno what you're after but vr4drifta has a FL blue fleck interior from a saloon for sale. Thread on here a couple of days ago.

If you can get the bottom mounting points from a N/A V6 (either a saloon or estate) that the highlighted bracket below bolts onto, plus the seat latch, you should in theory be able to fit estate seats in a saloon.

The seat latches should bolt straight on, but you'll need to weld the bottom mounting points on (carefully due to fuel tank being underneath). This is definitely possible as my first VR-4 had folding rear seats from a N/A V6, will be doing this again shortly with the leather interior I got for my current VR-4 :)
