will they allow me to fit a aftermarket double din HU? or is it for a factory double din setup?

You should already have a set of these in your car. I've had an aftermarket double din HU bolt straight to them. I think the bolts are in standard places.

As Scott says, you should already have a set, unless they have been removed - or you have MMCS.
