Hey Ritch are you a bassman too? Do you play? Sorry this is of topic I have an Aria Pro 11 Laser Electric circa 1976 that I gig every week- Prefer it to my Rickenbacker (but dont tell anybody). But are you sure yr bass is japanese made? Its my understanding that they moved over to korean build in very late 70,s and the quality suffered, good luck with yr sale. :-D

Hi Nick

yes i play bass - just started jamming with some guys i used to be in aband with 10yrs ago.

The Aria is definatly jap made at some factory (apparently famous for quality in 70s & 80s) that i cant remeber the name of.
i think you are corect with some of the budget ranges being produced in korea -such as the "cat" range etc...

i really like the aria - but i have used abused it for many a year and now have a cheapy vintage 900 with active pickups i bought off of e-bay - which is ok, quality is reasonable and its light (the aria breaks my aging back!!!) it'll do for messing about and if i start gigging again i'll invest in a decent bass and amp again :)
