Not certain what an atuo should hit as std boost pressure - is it a special moedl...?

0.6 bar is a pfl auto or 8.7 psi , you might have a small leak or a clamp is loose if your gauge is reading correct

I fitted the very same sandwich adapter plate but noticed a slight leakage of oil from the rear of the filter...

Did you have to use any ptfe tape round the sensor threads?

That looks mint as, especially with the blue LEDs

I have the same plate, don't have any leaks but used some lock-tight for the sensors.

Cheers Ray, I will take another look at mine...

My adapter plate is leaking too on the VR2. I used locktite, but apparently it's not strong/thick/heat resitant enough and bleeds my precious Amsoil... Will try teflon tape next oil change.

I think mine is leaking from rear of filter.... need to remove the whole assembly and take closer look. (sorry for slight OT chat BTW)

i think my oilk temp sensor in my sandwich plate is faulty, iv wired in to it with my gauges, but the sensor was already there, i have a new one but how much oil am i gonna loose if i take the sensor out? anyone got any idea?

Depends hoe quick u are. Get your finger ready as u spin the old one out to plug the hole. And the new one at hand to stick straight back in..
Wouldn't have thought more than a cup full :rabbit:

I can confirm that teflon tape works well for the sensor and plate - mine leaked at first till I tried the tape.

I've tried first sandwich plate to feed my oil pressure and temp gauges. Apparently it failed on rubber seal, and with massive luck I've spotted it quite early and throw to bin sandwich plate.
There are plenty stories how sandwich plate can fail leading to engine bang, either on Polish Evo forum and also on 3si American forum. Anyway if you really have to fit sandwich plate go for genuine Mocal, SARD stuff which is in range of 50 GBP onwards.
I myself preferred other solution and for oil pressure used engine block adapter and for oil temp used oil sump plug with temp sensor fitted. More reliable.
