I was thinking about the problem reported by many previously about the difficulty experienced in adapting new seats to fit due to the nature of the Galant floorplan.

Does anyone think that two floor sections from a galant with the side of the tunnel and the outer floor rise from a broken car could be held within the club to be used as a fabrication jig/templates?

Any ideas or volunteers to donate?

More than willing to donate that section from a car I have in bits at the moment

That would be a good thing to get sorted. I still need to replace the alloy fixings with steel in mine!

Atik, Get the aluminium out of there, like I said yesterday it just isn't strong enough to deal with the forces that "might" be applied to it.

Like I said yesterday there are plenty of B & B's or Travelodges down this way.

I also have a car coming apart at the moment that could be donated. On the offchance that it is easier to get it from me, let me know!

In the next couple of weeks the floorpan I have needs to go somewhere to live for this use or I will take it to the scrapman.

I'm sure there will be other floorpans available within the club, but I didn't want to throw this one away without mentioning it after I had agreed to donate it above!
