After the weekend where I drove from Yeovil to Tring and back, then to work and back on monday. Kinda needed fuel, but the garage near work was closed, so drove home and after a long day I couldn't be bothered to drive past home to get fuel at Tesco. Parked up at home looking at fuel gauge which sat below empty line just on top of the E. I got a bit more yet, I've had the needle touching the bottom of the E (although that was in my old galant gls).
On the way to work this morning at 3:30am, got half way to work through Queen Camel when it started missing and chugging. No power getting up the small hill towards the A303, just about keeping 12mphish, wouldn't do any more. Every time it looked like it's about to die, put my foot down a little and kept going, got up to the 24hr garage just as it stopped, shoved it into N and coasted onto forecourt and stopped right at a pump. (lucky)
I did get 329 miles out of 1 tank though.

I've done something similar in the van. It ran out in the middle of a traffic light controlled crossroads. I limped it over the crossroads on the starter motor and then I coasted about 1/2 a mile down the hill the other side, stopping at a pump on a forecourt, which made me feel vey lucky!

Im getting about 450 to a tank. It is a standard V6 though. Is that normal?
