One for the lorry drivers among you .

my shop is changing how we trade and due to this i may have a load of CB equipment that is all boxed and brand new going cheap (trade cheap) . If this is the direction we go i have no need for it as we mainly supply truckers , cabbies and farmers and soon we will not as its to much of a specialist market .I know nothing about CB's either which doesnt help (another reason why im backing away from it)

But if your interested in anything let me know as we probably have it in stock ,we are one of the biggest stockists in essex of CB equipment, so try me.

will get some pics up in the next few days of the sort of stock available .

I used to use CB radios all the time back home before mobile phones came along. They were great.
Totally free coms with anyone that wants to listen.

they can be classed as trucking , think of the items that reside at the unit with my stuff and it will make sense

I alway fancied a full frequency range scanner.

And maybe a big solid state amp.

And a good short mag mount arial

And an lnline SWR/matcher meter to ensure all the transmitted power goes out and does not get reflefted.

I am not looking at spending a lot of money, just if stuff is available at a resonable price.
I don't even have a use for it at the moment but you never know when it might come in useful.

Well, CBs could make a comeback in cars, as unlike mobile phones, they are legal to use whilst driving, AFAIK!

Perhaps a load of gear for the Ring trip would be good! :afro:

I'd be intrested in a full set up at the right price.
Mag twig, coax, uk\eu rig if you have them, external speeker, swar meter, mic with chanel up and down and maybe volume control.
Pm me.
I could colect it as well.

I also may be interested Dave, its for a venture thats emerging in Scotland. Probably need between 3-8 CB's, but would need to converse with others so prices would be good
