why does the seller say this in his auction if he has a reserve price?

the car in UK worth over £10k. i let it go for bargain with no reserve any offer to close this auction more welcomed

If you were the seller would you still sell if the car is sold for 3k less than your valuation or would you close the auction in the last minute?

you better say to him that,ebay have changed some rule's and i think one of them is that once your auction is in-to ot's last 24hrs and bid's are in place you can't retract it?
and yeah,i'd be pulling it out if it did'nt reach a sensable price....but i think i'd change the auction so as it has a hidden reserve......just to be safe...... :D

Setting a reserve price would cost money. Setting up another account to get the price up is free.
