right, theres a place on the front page for links.. they might not stay there for long.. might run out of room.. so they are more than likely gonna go the the info page, once thats up and running...

post some links if you got them!

Thread from the dead alert , warning this could be a spambot

Banned as a suspected spambot, with a message to contact us if that is incorrect. No information held on the IP address or email on Forum Spam sites, but profile does fit with that of a sophisticated spambot. IP address suggests location as Pakistan, user profile was showing United States, time zone GMT. Gmail email account used.

Just enough evidence, IMO. And the random useless post on a ridiculously old thread pretty much tipped it over the edge!

I used to be a super moderator on a PSP forum (before it got shut down) and the amount of accounts we banned was unreal. I'm talking 10 a day. And that's just from me. The other staff were also banning roughly the same amount per day. One of the classic giveaways on the bot accounts, were just as nev explained also they're PSN account number would be 12345 or similar. This made it easy for us to tell the real accounts from the bot accounts.

Fortunately, the revised NoSpam! settings have reduced the spambot registrations from something like 25-30 a day, to just a couple a week.
