Help needed - alarm problem.

My car's been off the road for a few weeks as I have been too busy with other things. Tried to start it yesterday but the battery was flat so I disconnected it and put it in the garage to charge overnight.

Put it back in this morning, connected the earth lead and as soon as I put the positive lead on the alarm went off. Nothing would stop the alarm, neither key fob nor manually locking the doors.

Any ideas ??

Sorry Jason, should have said. It is the standard Elite 3, think it's made by Cobra.

Sorry mate, don't know much about that system.

Do you have the manual for it still? You may have to enter in the security override code (check the documentation that came with the car / alarm).

I have the same alarm and have the manual if needed so could photocopy and send you or give me a call and I could read it back to you,pm me if you need to talk Mark
