upper wishbone?

i tried undoing the upper wishbone (the single bolt not the two under the bonnet) and it got near the end of the thread and stopped and just started spinning now i cant tighten it up or get the bolt all the way off.how do i go about sorting the out?

Put some wood above the horseshoe And then jack the whole hub carrier up until it is compressing the wood

You will then be able to undo the spinning ball joint

as easy as that?lol.feel a bit stupid now.lol.dont even need to take it off now as ive done what i need to do.cheers
