I have done quite a few auto to manual conversions but this is the first time I have done a late facelift model and have hit a little snag

What I have found is that the original auto gearbox only has the two shaft speed sensors and no road speed sensor output , the white and green wire is not part of the Auto loom either so from what I can work out it appears that the TCU must output the speed signal from pin 69 (22pin plug) rather than be an input as on the older facelift and PFL's - does anyone else know if this is the actual case #

I can get round the issue by re-using one of the cables for the shaft speed sensors(white pin 31 - 16 pin TCU ) and patch it into the speed signal line (white/green ECU pin 10 -12 pin connector) in the cabin but want to make sure mine and Tar's logic makes sense about the later models

Sound interesting...

White/green speed sensor wires are changed to white/blue on FL's.
Here's the speed sensor diagram, I've made for PFL's, so you can see the path of the signal... Maybe you can use it somehow :)
