Hello guys,

Does anyone has experience of using exedy clutch twin plate evo 8 kit ( clutch included with the flywheel ) on their galant?

I had this clutch + flywheel on my car. I made my own spacer. It fitted fine.

When I just started the car and drove around it feel fine just like other clutch even though it quite heavy. In the heavy traffic going half clutch is okay, going up hill is also okay. But after you drove is around for few hour. I think when the clutch gets warmer, going in heavy traffic and up hill is a bitch. The shifting to ge 1st and 2nd gear is quite hard.

The spacer that I custom made looks okay. I was thinking of getting the one the Nick sells just to see if it will make any difference.

But before, I just want to know if any of you used this clutch before? Maybe you can share your experience with this clutch?

My exedy twin plate evo 8 part number is MM022HD

I have a cusco. Same thing though.

I don't have any issues with it. I avoid heavy traffic though and when I know I am going somewhere where traffic is going to be bad, I take the Legnum which has a standard clutch. My Galant also doesn't have standard 1st and 2nd gear ratios, so not really the best comparison sorry.

@kenneth: I forgot where I read this information, but if I am not wrong exedy made the cusco twin clutch....

Anyone with other twin plate clutch brand want to share their experience with their clutch?
