Safe Mode?

Had to fill up with some crappy non-super unleaded the other day, and I understand that this might drop the ECU into Safe Mode.

Since I haven't had the chance to put my foot down driving to work this week :( is there any way to tell whether the car has dropped into Safe Mode?

Noticeable drop in power and less response.

Just use up what you put in and put in some higher octane then reset the ECU to get it back to normal.
