How about offering email addresses ending with the domain clubvr4.com

I have set this up on another site before using www.everyone.net (http://www.everyone.net)

They give you webmail and there is no charge as they make their money from the banners (you can include your own banners to be displayed amongst theirs). They also offer a paid for service without the banners or indivual members can upgrade.

What do you think? :-b

I don't think this would be feasible (disk space, bandwidth - spamming etc)

Currently only a few have one, the Committee members are due to receive their own email addresses, however it would end at that.

I didn't explain this very well.

All the email is handled by everyone.net on their servers, etc... and so has no impact on your bandwidth.

What you get is email addresses for your name, and a webpage for viewing webmail. The page is customisable to use your choice of colours, etc...

If you want to have a look at another site that is using this service you could check http://www.4asianz.com/email/default.htm and see it being used (don't be put off by the site name, it's not dodgy it's a community site for Asians in the UK)

Sounds good if it would work as you say jalford. Could be an added incentive for members. But I can understand the increase in admin being a problem.
