I have been swotting up on my :rolleyes: nissan 200's :lipsrseal , as I used to have one (love them wet tail-out, super happy fun slide roundabout moments) and for a project over winter (and long into next year, no doubt) me an a mate are gunna purchase a knackered one and set about rebuilding it.
My question to all here that are wise, is this....
When raising boost levels on the 200sx, there is a lot of talk on the forum about retarding the ignition timing to reduce the chances/occurances of detonation.
This is not something that gets mentioned here on CVR4 by those who have seeked to raise boost levels. WHY?
I have raised my boost level, I don't think I get any detting and TBH, I would'nt like to start dicking round with the timing at all, if not necessary. :rolleyes5
