I'm sure that's the one I had agreed to buy over 3 years ago!

I spotted it on Autotrader, called the then current owners up on a Wednesday, and said "I'll have it, I'll be there on Saturday morning to buy it" and agreed to do so, called them again on Friday afternoon again to check a detail for the insurance, to be told that it had been sold already.

It was listed at about £1200 at the time, and that was when saloon VR-4's of the age were still going for around ~£3k (about 6 months later the prices dropped massively!)

I'd always wondered what had happened to it... I guess now this explains it!

well messaged the seller and asked what the engine was like and when the last time it moved and they said it was a good runner and it last moved 2 yrs ago mmm me thinks its got more too it than that lol
did anyone notice the back box on the shelf lol
