can make adjusting spanners pretty easy from some thick sheet metal and an angle grinder, and the dampers can be adjusted by hand or with a hex (allen) key 4 or 5mm I think i can trace my adjusting spanners and post the image with a scale if you wish

i have a set of these, and have used them on my old cuscos, current tanabe's, and a few peoples teins, work just fine
