Have had me VR4 going on over 4 years now. Well optioned and speced vehicle, been well maintained and in good order.

-Clutch was replaced under 10,000km with an excedy 5 puk clutch
-Has evo 5 Brembo brakes all round with DBA rotors
-Evo 7 Alloy wheels, with 7mm worth of tread all round
-Tein height adjustable suspension
-K&N Filter
-Evo MR metal Blow off valve
-ARC front mount intercooler
-Hi vis speedo
-Factory Recaro seats
-Momo airbag steering wheel from an Evo
-5 star insurance approved alarm
-Great sound system with alpine type r speakers all round, powered by pioneer amps and twin boston subs to finish

Yeah she's a tidy one, got a couple of dents here and there but she still goes as good as the day i got her, if not better.

Running around in a sweet 87 Mazda famillia that just keeps on going at the mo.

Not sure yet going to do some travelling but keeping me eye out an STR but in no rush :)

hahahaha, unfortunately if i buy another turbo it will prob be a late model Legacy.

But at the mo i just need a car that i can use to travel to work.

I would actually consider both of those cars Jeremy. Be nice to take one of the euro r's for a good old fang ;)

The newer type r's are still alot of money for what they are

Why not get a CL1('99-02 shape)? Can get them for 6-8ishk if you keep an eye out on NZHondas. :) I almost got one before I got the galant, but couldnt live without the torque. These days I wouldnt mind one for track day duties, but its not worth the money to change to one... :(

You are prob talking about the CL7/9's which are expensive, but with a K20A they are quite quick... lol

Agreed! The H6 engined ones would be nice for something a bit different. And an H6 is the proper way a horizontally-opposed engine should sound, ala Porsche /yes
