i'll pop along and watch :-b .......i'll drive if ive a car by then! :dozey: £150 is good value, looks like you get to go out for 15 minutes every hour, track open 7 hours ...would normally cost at least £240 for 7 sessions!!!! do you know if you can register two drivers to one car so you can share the costs?

There's 4 groups of cars and 12 cars per group.

Novice
Novice-Intermediate
Intermediate-Advanced
Advanced

The all important "novice-intermediate" group is filling up fast with 7 confirmed bookings so far, so get it there quick if you want to avoid promotion or demotion!

I don't think it matters too much which group your in though, it's just a comfort thing knowing what the other cars are likely to be doing.

Each group get's 15 minutes every hour from 9am to either 4 or 5pm (less 1 hour for lunch), so 6 or 7 sessions. As Simon says, normally these sessions sell for £30 each, so it's buy 5 get 2 free!

Pete - looks like we have some interesting competition :boing3: (pray for rain  ) and of course some 'Hordak' type fodder (who said BURN HIM ? :evil2: ) for the mobile chicanes (bet they're not as shiny as Kieran's :-D )

Is there any places left?
I am not sure am i eligible for the track day as my galant is not the VR4 model and also it will be my first track day too.

Nick Mann
18-01-2005, 06:27 PM
This is not an exclusive club VR4 event. See the link at the start of the thread! The Japfest event is a few months further on and can be found on a different thread. And ANY form of galant is more than welcome!

/Edit.... It says max 48 cars in attendance, but there are 49 booked???

Kieran
18-01-2005, 06:37 PM
Are Spectators welcome? Hordak won't be track ready by February, but it would be nice to come and say hello... But not if I have to pay £150!!! :$

HJM
18-01-2005, 07:00 PM
Yep - this event is now fully booked and yes Kieran, you are more than welcome to come and spectate (shouldn't cost a penny to get in) - you should also be able to catch a few rides as others did at Donington (Jane certainly won't come out with me on every session - she values her life :rolleyes5 Does your head fit a small FM helmet ? If not you'll need to bring your own skid lid)

Should be a good day (see list of attendees on the Bookatrack site), come rain or shine - just hope Jimbo and Simon are sorted by then !!!!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed ;)

Anyone else coming down (as most of you are 'up' country) to watch ?

Heath
