No idea, but there is no such thing as a ralliart edition... its just a normal one with a ralliart backbox...

Those wheels are incredibly hideous.

As for if it's worth it, depends on how much it goes for I guess. For $200 it would :P

Oh god, my EYES. Those WHEELS. Hideous.

The wheels are worth more than the car (though not by much).

Badger_01
05-03-2012, 07:34 AM
Haha yeah, the first thing that made me cringe was those wheels

low_vr4
05-03-2012, 09:07 AM

only to some crackhead bling bling boy racer of other racial background that thinks bling is king. ( did i cover all boy racers in that comment? )

SEAN-NZ

Ryan

Just noticed this... can't believe that someone would rather have the wheels. And yes, "ernz" is the Quinton we all know and despise.

Oggie

buy from him at your own risk. his feedback on trademe is all you will need to know about his "sales" etc etc.

i had a look through, pretty bad, with that many trades, i would expect a lot less negative feed back, some of them seem pretty bad, would use caution when trading with him, if needed, got some good looking stuff though, disappointing that he appears to be so hard to deal with

Badger_01
07-03-2012, 03:54 AM
Ah I see haha, thats interesting lol

wintertidenz
07-03-2012, 07:42 AM
He even tried to sell to people on here for more than he was selling on Trademe - I asked him about prices for a couple of things, he gave me a price that was $30-40 higher than what he had them on Trademe for.

The 6th and 7th generation VR4 were both 2 litre (1997cc). The 6th being an inline 4 (the same as the early evos), while the 7th was the smaller sibling of the 6a13 v6, the 6a12.

Heh, according to the cert plate on mine, it's an inline 4, despite the fact that there are V6 badges on both sides haha.

It was also the only 8G to come with MIVEC!

The Galant VR-M, only sold in certain Asian countries like Hong Kong and Singapore.

That would be Quinton. He was full of high hopes for some super car that would out perform an str..

It would have probably worked however he is just a parts fitter, not a mechanic and when he realized it was more then just a "unbolt the old engine, chuck in the new" job he gave up. From memory he just had to get it to switch cam profile but he couldn't work out how

scott.mohekey
08-03-2012, 09:57 PM
Yeah, interestingly, it turns out his legute project is actually being built by someone else!

PFL manual with moonroof (cool). De-oranged side indicators. Front bumper is more than a "bit ruff" and is missing at least one foglight and vent assembly (RH side). Tyres seem okay and appear to be the same all round.

I wonder what condition that black leather is in? No mention of when cambelt was last done. I had mine done yesterday and it was $1264 for the belt, tensioner, idler adjuster, water pump etc.

Badger_01

Theres new pictures up, the leather looks okay but I dont think there are any fog lights (well not that I can see) and the front bumper looks mangled haha

Badger_01
10-03-2012, 01:52 AM
emailed the guy and he said that the cambelt is due at 240k kms
