Shipping a Bumper

i hope this is in the right place...Mods please feel free to move it

i'm looking to buy a face lift bumper in the near future....2-3months is the near future right? anyway...as i live in Zambia Africa, i try to be as discrete as possible. a bumper might attract the Zambia revenue authority.

i have a London address or where ever in the UK TW4 6DR is, that will send me stuff sent there in my name

is there way of shipping the bumper so that its not so bulky? like folding it or something like that? i read somewhere bumpers can be folded and then sent in that sorta rectangular shape then unfolded in the sun and it returns to its glory?

looking for advice on the best way to accomplish this?

a vr4 bumper will not fold in any way without damage to the plastic or paint work

cut it in half then fibre glass platic weld it back together in africa

ask on galant center forums,

they get jdm bumpers sent from japan all the time,

I've bought a couple of bumpers from Japan cut in half and plastic-welded them back together. Smelly job, but it works.

Hmmmmm. So folding it at the ends and using heat to restore it won't work?
