Will it work with my clutch?

will work with any stock clutch.
I used it with a VR4 specific MKB7223HDCB cushoned button exedy clutch which is the same as stock but with higher clamp load on the pressure plate and the cushoned button disc
but will work with an organic clutch fine.

Is there any real benefit to my stock flywheel?

when I installed it I noticed a slight increase in accleration after I installed it, without sacrificing drivability (ie not so light it stalls all the time.)
I got it made so with my heavy duty pressure plate the extra force wouldnt deform the flex plate on the flywheel. for extra saftey factor but with your stock pressure plate thats not a problem unless your planning on kicking the **** out of your clutch to try drift etc.

too bad i just spent over $500 on 2 tires and a wheel alignment, almost poor again now, otherwise it could be a good addition to the car
