After the ones I bought in a GB (supposedly suited to our cars) made a mess of my bonnet, no thanks. They were too long, pushed the bonnet up too high and digging the rear points of the bonnet into the body and kept forcing the bonnet into misalignment.

Also the front pivot bolts were too high, severely dinted the underside of the bonnet cracking the paint under there. You can also now see ripple each side on the top of the bonnet too.

The only way I'd ever get them would be if I custom engineered them myself, so buyer beware. I've gone back to the trusty factory prop.

They're the ones I've got: the ones you know and love Nick.
Surprisingly, in this day and age, they've reduced in price by over 10% since I bought mine!
A nice thing to have as long as you get the correctly sized/specced ones.

The ones I have on my car are from carlos1975 group buy.
You have to be carful when fitting them as they could be mounted in a number of different ways and only one would work for the vr4. The other ways would/could damage the bonnet if you just fitted them and slammed the bonnet shut. Once you work it out by trial fitting them carefully they work very well. And I only paid £20 for them, and that was about 4 years ago.
Bargain!

If you car get them for £20 from that polish site, I will have a second set, as a back up for that price.

I was thinking about get it but I'm not quiet like that 'wobbly' feel of the raised bonnet, it is fine on metal one (more stable) but carbon give me the strange feeling that it could snap or broke top clear coat, hence my decision to left it with a standard stick.

Is there a good web page translator that works with the allegro site.
google translate does not seem to cope with it. just sits there flashing on and off trying to do the translation.

I'm afraid not, Dave. That's whole "beauty" of it. No-one knows apart of few...:scholar:
What would you like to know?

just wanted to browse what was for sale. the Ploish sites seem to sell stuff cheaper. i know you have to factor in the postage but it still seem like a lot of cheaper stuff to be had.

Going to be doing this shortly along with lifting the rear slightly may even look at modding the bonnet for eyebrows and little side skirts to cover the rear lift

Hi Swinks, are you still planning to pursue a GB this month? I know you didn't get many takers when the thread was started back in March but I'm interested if you are.

OK, guys will do GB in near future.
There will be separate purchase of struts and ball joints/bolts.
Adapter plate won't be subject of GB. Supplier run out of stock. So plates must be made individually. There is good write up so anyone with little skills use angle grinder and drill should be able to make them himself.
