Firstly hello to all those out there. I have been browsing the forum for a while now taking in what information I can, so here's my first post in anticipation of the arrival of a VR4 in 2005..............

1) What do you guys pay for insurance on your VR4's? (Would appreciate details of your age and NCB earned).

2) Who is your insurance with?

3) What are your annual running costs excluding fuel, with details of any repairs etc.

Thanks in anticipation,

Robert.

Will try Lifesure, are they online?

Not from Stewarton mate, currently in Ayr working in Prestwick.

What age are you with that quote and what sort of NCB you got then?

Cheers Robert.

My 2001 VR4 Ralliart, standard, up to 5k a year, is £330 fully comp with business use, & with protected ncb , xs £350. Try First Alternative, a branch of esure. But I am old, 57 & have a clean license (so far)
I get 14-15mpg in town, 24-25 on a run. Recent Rossini discs, originals warped, new fuel tank under recall,& new drivers leather seatback under warranty were theonly faults. Nevertheless I purchased a warranty direct 3 yr gold extended warranty for £980, a gamble but gearbox & active yaw control are vv expensive .

My local garage, Ware Garage, has a 2000 red VR4 saloon ,42k, for £9999
