Within the next few months between myself & a specialists garage I use we are going to develop a full complete hard pipe kit for the vr4 engines.

This would include everything you require for this kit except the y pipe & the pipe that goes into the rear turbo.

Or for those that want just the hard pipes to go where the 3 or so soft pipes go then that could be arranged too?

We do have some ideas about forming this kit & a prototype would be finalized for all to see & approve before the final batch are done

This would go ahead unless someone else brings theirs out first?

We will endeavor to do kits that fit standard & uprated FMIC which should be possible

Kit will comprise of all hard pipes made in 304 grade steel, silicone joiners (red or blue) & mikalor clamps

As for price, well it will depend on cost of materials & labor & all materials will be an extremely good quality & no cheap crap.

RHD Japan charge around £320 or so just for 3 pipes with silicone connectors & I believe they only supply jubilee clips?

All I'm doing now guys is testing the water & there is *NO* specific date set as of yet but as soon as it can go ahead Ill let you know.

Any ideas of who could be interested please?

May be interested. Depends on price (as always).

Would the cost be fitted or parts only? I ask this as i'd be in the parts only camp.

Also would they need info on individual specs/sizes of FMIC for eg inlet and outlet diam?? Is that an issue.

Oh and delivery costs aswell or would that be factored into the initial costing?

Sorry for all the questions.

Parts only

Most if not all IC outlets are near on the same size apart from the stock one but this is easy to get around as you use a stepped up joiner

Delivery will be at cost which will be Special delivery before 1pm & dependent on cost/labor could be within the price but we will not know this until the first one is done

Just to ad for others, we will be doing one prototype simply to see how they come out & to see how much they will cost!

I won't be able to use any of these because of my TD04 conversion

As stated in my first post we could do 2 kits which will depend on cost & if any one would consider them?

All interested parties will be asked which kit they would like again dependent on price when we have the full details

So this thread is only to see what members would like & nothing is set in stone

Steve, would the kit have an option for the throttle body elbow too? The plastic one is terrible and i have endless problems sealing it on the throttle body.

They would look better in Alloy yes but it's down to cost, Mike did the GB in t304 stainless I think simply because of the price

You can get cusco ones from RHD Japan which only have 3 pieces, 6 joiners for £316.98 + taxes + duty if you wanna go down that route?
