Could someone direct me to a site with information on the different years, makes and models of the VR4 that are available? Not much on google so far. I'm specifically looking for differences between models - such as performance, handling, known problems, etc.

Under resources you will find a comprehensive buyers guide. This is for the 8th generation VR4 - 1996 onwards. For earlier stuff, you are better off looking elsewhere.

There is also a 7G VR-4 which was available from 93-96 from Japan with a 2L V6 twin Turbo and 240 bhp and 4WD/4WS
