TCU control?

Any way to tell TCU what gear to engage? First I planned to use up & down pins on manual mode, and was quite convinced that the method to go on desired gear is to cycle thru all gears on the way.
However, recently I noticed that if you kick the pedal and under hard acceleration, the box can go from 5th directly to second. So now I can't sleep thinking about how can outside world tell the TCU what gear to engage. :rolleyes4

hard to follow what you want, you want more control than what the tiptronic already gives you? or dont you want it to go down so many gears when you floor it? that can be solved in tiptronic though

I want to implement hybrid mode - manual upshift and auto downshift. :)
