HELP me please!!

i need a rear set of Daiyama dampers rebuilding to get my car back on the road, but so far the Daiyama website is useless as it gives to numbers which are not linked to them so thats one dead end!

every one else i have rang and e-mailed so far want either stupid money and i mean STUPID money or simply wont touch them because of the odd sized diameter of the damper.:(

i dont want to buy a brand new set od coilovers as i have a set which is in perfectly good order except for on of the rear dampers which obviously requires the rear set to be rebuilt.:(:(

does any one know any one who can help buy giving me either contact details direct to Daiyama or some one who knows how to rebuild suspension parts.

i am at a lost end now as i have no transport untill i can sort the suspension out.

Many thanks in advance ,
Dan.

When I tried to get any help from the Uk agent they were useless and I gave up and sold mine on. Same with the manufacturer ,no help and I would not deal with them again. I also was unable to find anybody who would rebuild dampers . I even tried some of the motorcycle related companies

i live near by to http://www.hallandhall.net/ and a KTM specialist, i am going to pop into them with the damper and see what they say, they might be able to give me a companies name or do them them selves but im not holding out much luck. unless they can help me or any one on here has any ideas i may have to do the same, :(

I heard that D2 is the same manufacturer as Daiyama. I have no proof of that and don't know if it is true. Not sure if a rumour of something will help you much, sorry!

Not knowing if they are the same or not is a problem, but check this out:

a lot of the coilovers are from the same source, and are rebranded, if you have the measurements of the shock part you are after post them up and someone can tell you if it is close to what they have, or email measurements to other coilover dealers!, (It is coilovers you are talking about???)

yes i they are coilovers and they are 43mm in outside diameter, i have the rest of the measurements writen down some where but the mrs has lost.... i mean moved and 'put' every thing away again :furious4:

Nick, THanks for the link but i cant see wether they would be the same, plus i would still need some one to rebuild them, i told the last company i rang i could supply the parts and they said they still wouldnt touch them as they only do rebuilds as and after sales thing. :(

good site though, do you use it often?

No, never used it. It came up in a random Google search and looked useful!
