Had a busy day on the car yesterday, changed brake pads and went to see a friend who owns a tyre shop and did the tracking. Tracking was nigh on spot on, so decided to investigate the knock from the passenger side front. I've replaced lower arms and track rod end but i'm still getting a knock when manuvering around and at low speed. I gave the wheel a right good shaking and wobbling but we couldn't see anything that looked wrong. I'm thinking that maybe the knocking is coming from the the ball joint that is right at the top of the suspension arm that runs up next to the strut, we couldn't see any movement mind. Has anyone had problems with this joint before? looks a right pain to change aswell?
