since the club has spoken and the buddy club wheels are staying on my super .
my next question is should the kit be the same colour as the car or stay the original black?

The black suits your car well, keep it black

I've never even seen a super in the flesh. If it has spent all it's life that colour and is the original spec, leave it. For a car that is so rare, it would be a shame to have it anything other than original.

Well here's a Super saloon which had the bodykit painted silver.

The "appeal" and "uniqueness" of a Super over the base car, a standard PFL VR4, is the stick on tat on the bodywork - so keep that part original IMO.

Keep it original.

As its so rare, it needs to be cherished and kept alive as it is.

Sorry its a bit of a bodge as only spent a few minutes on as got to pop out again quickly, but will hopefully give you an idea. If you want it done properly, let me know & I will do it when I get home from this blastered family meal /wall

Regardless of it being a super / no super, the silver black combo is wicked imo!

I personally prefer it in silver. The black does look good don't get me wrong but the silver blends in more and looks less likes its been stuck on as an after thought.

But that's exactly what Mitsubishi did do when they made the Super! ;)

If your willing to spend money on a paint job? Get the black freshened up/yes

They do look good colour coded but look as good as original.

No problem. After doing it, my opinion is that it looks lower & more aggressive in silver, I think I prefer it, but if it was mine, I would keep it black. Still looks good, matches the new wheels & original. Even if I could get it painted for free, I would stick with stock

:iagree:

my thoughts, keep it black if you want to keep original, paint it silver if you want it to looks aggressive, all depends if you want to stand out a bit or not, up to you, both options are cool
