Spent some time yesterday removing the drivers front wind deflector.

Came off ok ish... Well left behind lots of gunk and dried bonding agent with oaa the crap that it has picked up over the years...

How have you lot removed the old bonding foam stuff from both the door and the plastic?

Mine is now in about 3 pieces, so need I have taken it off to repair.
Remove old glue from previous fixes. (Had left it on car to fix before hand!)
Use clear slow set 2-part epoxy resin on the inside of the deflector.
Coat/cover both sides with clear sticky film.
Re-sttach to car.

What did you use to re-attach after?

I used a razor blade and acetone to remove the small bits from memory. You could also try methylated spirits to soften it up for removal.

To put mine back on, I used the 3M automotive tape designed for exterior trimmings. Just remember that when you put the deflector back on, get it right the first time - the tape sticks to ANYTHING.

Pretty much as above. Though my double sided foam tape wasn't the 3M stuff.

You can use any of the exterior trimming tapes, they stick the same (like **** to a blanket). I just used the 3M stuff because I had it lying around... the original spec stuff is 3M IIRC.
